Gigiakka is an organic skincare house that was born from the fusion of modern research with our grandmother’s legacy of skincare recipes. We are all about honesty, transparency, quality and care. It’s about us sharing a piece of our grandmother’s love, with all of you. Our mission is to advocate for natural skincare, reinventing artisanal, handcrafted traditions, while striving for a greener planet through sustainable practises.

  • Generational

    Our name is a combination of what we lovingly called our grandmother and her sister, Gigi & Akka. We hail from a quaint town called Belgaum, nestled amidst the lush forests of the western ghats of India. These forests inhabit botanical treasures enriched with healing nutrients that our grandmother found ways to incorporate in our lives. Sundays were synonymous with cherished rituals with our grandmother crafting sandalwood face masques and indulging us in coconut oil massages. Gigiakka was born from fusing these legacy skincare recipes with modern ways of skincare.

    Deeply rooted in nature, we believe in the holistic benefits of nature’s botanicals. Beyond promoting skin health, we are dedicated to giving back to our universal mother - The Earth. Our commitment is to work with only ethically sourced and organically grown farm produce. Only the best quality botanical ingredients are hand picked to ensure that the potency is preserved. We manufacture in small batches, so we are able to deliver fresh products. Our Founder | Aabha Pusalkar

Aabha is a cosmetologist, hairdresser and make up artist with a vast experience working in the beauty industry.

Using modern technology and amalgamating that with her Naani’s (grandmother's) legacy of organic skincare recipes, is what gave birth to Gigiakka.

With Gigiakka, she hopes to carry forward the rich heritage her grandmother left her and pass on the age old wisdom she has inherited.

Packaging

All our products are packaged in sustainable materials. The bottles and jars can be reused or recycled. The plastic lids and glass droppers must be disposed as plastic / glass waste to be recycled. The labels and the boxes are compostable and biodegradable.

Shipping

Our dispatch team makes sure your products reach you at the earliest, by dispatching them within 48 hours of receiving the order.

Returns

All purchases are final. If you claim a leakage or damage in the product, please send us an email at care@gigiakka.com within 24 hours of the delivery date. We will issue an exchange if the product is verified to be damaged or faulty.

All refund and exchange queries will be dealt with on a case-to-case basis by the customer service team. We would urge you to share images and videos for reference during this process to have our team assist you better.
